While Dengfeng City is the spiritual home of Shaolin, it currently does not house an operational high-speed railway station. We recommend navigating through the following major rail hubs:
Zhengzhou East Railway Station (Most Popular Choice):
Located approximately 70 km from the academy grounds, this is the most optimal and frequent route for incoming students. Upon arrival, you may secure a long-distance bus or tourist shuttle to Dengfeng (approximately 1.5 hours) or take a direct taxi to our gates in about 1 hour.
Luoyang Longmen Railway Station:
Also situated about 70 km away, this station is the ideal gateway for practitioners traveling from historic Xi’an or Luoyang. A local bus or shared transit car will bring you to our training grounds in approximately 1.5 hours.
Gongyi South Railway Station:
Geographically the closest high-speed rail hub at 34 km away, this station offers a shorter final commute but features fewer arriving train schedules than the two stations above. A brief 40–50 minute taxi or shared ride will bring you directly to the academy.
Important Reminder:
A disciplined mind remains vigilant against misinformation. Please be aware that the “Dengfeng East Station” and “Dengfeng West Station” frequently listed online are either highway exits or planned projects, not operational rail stations. Please do not be misled when booking your train tickets.
